In her figurative paintings Zoe loves to explore the beauty and power of the human form. She is especially interested in how body language can convey a message which the viewer can interpret in different ways. By making the figures anonymous she allows the viewer to reflect their own thoughts and feelings into the paintings . Their enigmatic quality is accentuated by her use of a limited palette so as to concentrate on the drama of light and shade to create a dramatic and striking image. These are some examples of her distinctive style.
